My Road to 30. A Scudetto Celebration.
I feel like I write the same intro line every time. It’s essentially a variation of: “I’m not very good at keeping up with this blogging thing.” So, for the two of you that have ever checked out my blog more than once, I’m sorry.
As the title to this post might suggest, I am slowly approaching 30. Well, not really. I turned 28 on May 13. Interestingly, that was the same day Juventus celebrated their 30th scudetto. Or 28th? You can thank Farsopoli for the numbers game.
As a birthday gift to myself, I made the 3,000+ mile trip to Torino with my girlfriend to take part in the scudetto festivities. I’ve made the trip before, but never under these circumstances. What to say: New Stadium. A Championship. My birthday. A once-in-a-lifetime moment.
